In the '80, Mr. Cruzat (and partners) controlled local companies such as Consorcio
Nacional de Seguros, Colocadora Nacional de Valores, Banco Santiago, Cruz Blanca, AFP
Provida, AFP Alameda, Ladeco, Watt's, CCU, Santa Carolina, Copec, Puerto Lirquén,
Cooperativa Vitalicia, Forestal Valparaíso, Neut-Latour Forestal, Minera Pudahuel and
Minera Cascada, plus nearly 4,000 acres of urban land located in Santiago (La Florida,
Puente Alto, San Carlos de Apoquindo and La Dehesa).
Since 1999, CB ventured into technology. Thus, it launched the first on-line trading
company in Chile and second in Latin America (cb.cl). In the next years, it launched
miscuentas.com, tororojo.com, atacam.com and 4rutas.com.
Nowadays, CB is one of Chile's largest real estate companies with over 12,000 acres of
urban land in Santiago and Valparaiso: Lo Aguirre Valley and Curauma;
and a relevant local actor in Internet companies: cb.cl, miscuentas.com,
4rutas.com,
atacam.com,
tororojo.com.
CB also owns 13,5% of The Quebrada Blanca Mine Company, which is controlled by Aur Resources.
CB Group has controlled businesses in Argentina, Bolivia, Colombia, Mexico and Peru until

Since 1996, CB Group is developing CURAUMA, a real estate project designed to hold 200,000
people over 2,600 acres next to Valparaíso, site to Chile's second most important port.
It is located at a mere 90 minute-drive from Santiago City and 60 minute-drive from
Chile's main international airport, Arturo Merino Benítez.
Curauma is already home to 8,000 people whose jobs are in nearby cities, such as Viña del
Mar and Valparaíso, and also in Santiago, 90 kilometres away.
Since 1995, Curauma has sold 2,922 new houses. During 2002, it sold 922 new houses, and in
2003 it sold 884 units. |

In 1997, CB Group began planning another main project in Pudahuel, one of Santiagos
western districts: LO AGUIRRE VALLEY.
LO AGUIRRE VALLEY is one of the most significant real estate development opportunity in
the Santiago Metropolitan Region. It is located on 9,757 acres, owned by MIP & MIC, on
Route 68 (the main highway between Santiago and the port of Valparaiso), 15 miles west of
downtown Santiago and two miles from the Santiago International Airport, in Lo Aguirre
Valley, under the single jurisdiction of the Municipality of Pudahuel.
Based on demand forecasts and several development studies, this proposed Master Planned
Community is currently planned to evolve into an intensive mixed use development of
150,000 residents, including light industrial areas, office and commercial uses, and a
wide variety of public and private amenities.

QUEBRADA BLANCA MINE COMPANY (NORTH

The Quebrada Blanca Mine Company (80,000 tons/year).
CB Groups partners in The
Quebrada Blanca Mine Company are Aur
Resources Inc. from Canada (main shareholder) and Enami (Empresa Nacional de Minería),
owned by the Chilean Government.
The Quebrada Blanca Mine is a long-life, open-pit copper mining operation which produces
cathode copper using solvent extraction electro-winning (SX-EW) technology.
Quebrada Blanca Mine is located in northern Chile at 4.400 meters over the ocean.
In 2000, It produced 68,615 tonnes of copper at a cash operating cost, including
transportation and marketing, of $0.52 per pound of cathode copper sold.
In 2001, it produced 75,000 tonnes of cathode copper at a cash operating cost of $0.51 per
pound sold including all transportation and marketing costs.
A capital investment program designed to increase copper production to 80,000
tonnes per year beginning in 2003. |

SOCIEDAD AGRÍCOLA
PAREDES VIEJAS S.A. (CENTRAL CHILE)
It is a 2,000 hectares plantation of vineyards located in the Colchagua Valley (VI
Region).
The plantation began in 1995. Nowadays there are 800 acres planted with varieties such as
Cabernet Sauvignon, Melot, Carménère, Syrah, Cabernet Franc, Sauvignon Blanc y
Chardonnay.
The different characteristics of the Colchagua Valley, privileged in the production of its
varied and fine stocks thanks to its climatic conditions (mediterranean warm and
mediterranean cold) and soil, allow a wide variety of fine wines to be obtained.
Paredes Viejas sells its entire production to wine companies such as Concha
& Toro Vineyard y Montes Vineyard. |
